SEVERAL TRANSFERS. (Per Press Association— Copyright.) PALMERSTON N., Sep 19. Mr G. M. Valentine, dairy instructor at Massey College, has received notice of transter to London, as assistant to tlie Inspector of Dairy Produce, for one year. Mr Valentine will be replaced at the college by Mr J. W. Smith, dairy instructor at Whangarei, who will be succeeded there by Mr G. V. Were, at present instructor for Hawke,s Bay and Wellington, ' and formerly occupant of the position to which Mr Valentine is now proceeding. Mr Smith. recently undertook a visit to Australia, where lie made observations on dairying methods,
