The position of Dr Dollfuss has been weakened a« the result of yesterday's opc ai challenges from power!ill groups led by Prince Suviiemberg and Herr Winkler Vice Chancellor, .respectively, which have nothing in common except opposition to the Nazis and Socialists, but which demand that the Chancellor shall incorporate their creeds in the new constitution. Meanwhile Austrian Nazis are jubilantly watching the disputes. prince Starhembei'g emphasises that Dr Dollfuss will receive the Heimwehr, that is. Fascist, support only if lie establishes a Fascist State on the Uaibin lilies. He says that it is essential to clean out the Cabinet.
•Herr Winkler, while expressing loyalty to Dr Dollfuss, declines to merge hi’ own (organisation in the Chancellor's “fatherland front.”
