GERMANY’S POWER
IN HER PEASANTRY DANGERS OF INTELLECTUAL ISM. (United Pi’e&s Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) BERLIN, September 13. Curious reverberations of a Hitlerite gospel continue. We have too many academicians apart from the glutting of .certain of the professions. This ambition conjures up the dangers of intellectualism, and it creates a favourable soil for a growth of Bolshevism and Liberalism.”
On the contrary, in order to persuade the German peasant that lie is the life spring of the country, Chancellor Hitler proposes to hold a monster harvest festival- on November 1, when half a million of the peasants are being mustered to hear the Chancellor’s address from a hillside on the Buekeberg Range. This gathering will -also be entertained by feats of horsemanship by cavalry detachments. There will be gigantic bonfires on tho. surrounding heights. Everyone who attends the harvest festival is expected to buy a badge consisting of two ears of corn and a poppy, the profits of the sales going to swell Doctor Goehbel's anti-hunger and anti-cold fund.
