Gordon Richards, undeterred by Friday’s ’plane crash, reached London, and rode eight horses in exercise, and then rode the winner at Alexandra Park in .the : afternoon,, bringing his season’s total wins to 185. He hopes to ride more than sixty-two winners Jn the remaining six weeks of the .flat racing season, thus breaking the twenty-three-year-old record of Fred Archer.
