VARSITY STUDENT IN CUSTODY (Per Press Association, Copyright). DUNEDIN, September 16. Tlie University student who was charged with the theft and mutilation of books in the Athenaem had to he removed to hospital last night.. He was found with a cut on his wrist from a jagged piece of glass from the cell window ,and was .suffering from loss of blood.
