DOUBLE TRAGEDY
MAN AND WOMAN FOUND SHOT POLICE ALLEGE DEATH PACT. (Australian Press Association). • • SYDNEY, Sep. 17. A shooting tragedy occurred at Tarcutta yesterday, it having peculiar features. Two ,are dead. They are:Ronald Haggars, aged 25 years, anu Audrey Stockwell, aged- 15 years. The police are of the opinion that there was a pact. The pair were sweethearts. Haggars had been warned to ! cease , his attention to the girl, who ' slipped, out in her nightdress. Her dead bedy was found, with a bullet wound l in the chest, propped against tree. | There were remnants of, a mask- over . her eyes. .. >} '; *'( •;< ■ 'h '' Haggars’ body, with ~ a gunshot •< I wound, Avas found beside that .of the girl, ..with a string tied to<the triggei of the. gun. The wrists of both of the victims were gashed- with a knife or - a razor. ( -
