WELLINGTON, September 15.Advice received by the Department of Industries and Commerce from the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce states tlinti the Chamber’s Trade Counsellor iu the Pacific, Mr J. David Larson. who visited New Zealand early in the year, is again' planning a visit to the Dominion during ,the latter part part of the present year. It is stated that Mr Larson is interested in assisting New Zealand to develop markets* in Southern Califoi nia, as well as’ introduce any California products into this Dominion that it might seek. The communication also states that Southern California is buying a quantity of New Zealand and Australian produce through the London market, and that, if direct sales could he consummated, much time and money might be saved.
