1 AGED MAN FOUND DEAD. : (Per Pre ss Copyright) NELSON', Sep. 12. Ernest Somerset Bowden, aged 85 years, was this morning found dead on his property at the ;Glen. Wakapuoka Mr Bowden had been doing considerable work for a -man. of his advanced years, on his property, and wa g digging a water hole . While engaged in that task he evidently had a seizure and fell into the hole.
TOP OF HEAD BLOWN OFF. NAPIER, Sep. 13The body of John Bennett, aged 27 years, sheepfarmer, of the Eskdale district, was found hi a cottage on t' e Napier-Taupo road about eight .miles from Bay view this morning. The top of the head had been blown off and a shot gun was lying across the body.
