LATE KING FEISAL
THE FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS (British Official Wireless.j RUGBY, September 13 Sir Francis Humphries, British Ambassador to Iraq, will represent His Majesty at the public funeral of King Feisal at Baghdad. The H.M S. Despatch, which is conveying King Feisal’s body home, is due to arrive to-morrow m-orning at Haifa, where a Royal Air Force ’plane is in readiness . to carry it on the last stage of the journey to Baghdad. REMARKABLE SCENES AT HAIFA. (ReceivecUthis day at 10.48 a.m.) LONDON, September 14. At Haifa there were remarkable scenes on the arrival of the late King Feisal’s body, at the aerodrome for a religious ceremony. Fifteen thousand Arabs broke the police cordon and rushed towards the dais whereon the coffin was placed, endeavouring to touch it. Mounted police with drawn batons eventually 'cleared the way for the aeroplane winch started for Baghdad.
