The stock markets generally left off to-day with -a- cheerful tone. Kaffirs closed at about the best point of the day on Continental buying. British funds finished steady, with war loan 34 per cent, at 100 5-25ths. Oils, rubbers, and Home rails were firm, but German bonds avere inclined to ;be easier. Internationals .showed appreciable gains.
