Francis Joseph Grace, senior, a shipping magnate, aged fifty-seven, nephew of the late W. R. Grace, ' was shot, killed by a woman who gave the name Fr.day Augusta Weltz, who the police said, was: formerly employed as nurse in the Grace home. , The woman had been discharged a year ago, came' here on Saturday and went to the home where Grace was sitting in the garden with' his present nurse, and- shot Grace in the side. Grace had beenretired many years from business. Acquaintances said he was a member of the New Zealand branch of the Grace family, and was formerly, connected in an executive capacity with W. R. Grace and Company, a shipping commission concern in San Francisco. ,
