In beating Otago by 20 to 17, before a crowd of 10,093 spectators, at Athletic Park on Saturday, Wellington were hard pushed to maintain, their unbeaten record for the season. The return heme and home game be* tween South Canterbury and North Otago, was played to-day in tEe presence of a good crowd and resulted in a win for South Canterbury by 13 points to 9.
