PRINCE ROBBED

JEWELS WORTH £2OOO STOLEN. Jewels worth £2OOO were recently stolen at night from the flat of the Maharaja Kumari, of Burdwan, in Glendower-place, South Kensington, London. No one was in the flat at the time. Among the stolen property were a .pearl necklace with *75 large pearls, a pearl bracelet, several diamond rings, and a gold diamond broocli. It is thought that the thieves had a skeleton key, which opened the main lock on the door, but a second lock baffled them ,and they were forced to use a jemmy. This is the second robbery at the Loudon home of the Maharaja. Two years ago burglars raided bis house in Kensington, Gore, South-West London, and stole- jewellery .valued at £4OO from his son’s bedroom.
