Those ladies wild have kindly promised refreshments for the Hospital Ball children’s carnival to-morrow evening, are asked to please send them to the Soldiers’ Hall between half past two and four o’clock. In connection with the special trains for Christchurch, one train will leave Ross on Friday night at 11 o’clock, Hoiktika at midnight and Greymouth .at 1.15 a.m. This train leaves Christchurch on the return at 10.45 p.m. on Saturday. A second' special train leaves. Hokitika at 1.10 o’clock on Saturday morning. Grevmouth at 2.30 and the return Lax oS Christchurch at 9.30 p ui. c.. Saturday.'
