SERIOUS INJURIES
SUSTAINED BY MAN AND WIFE. (Per Prasa Association—Copyright)., AUCKLAND, August 30. Early tins morning a doctor was etfllefd to a house in Grange Road, Mt. Eden, where he found John Shaw Gordon, aged 08, with a wound in his throat, and his wife Nellie Gordon; aged fit), suffering from severe head injuries. Both were taken to hospital. It was.reported at noon that the wife was expected to recover. The man’s condition is critical. The injuries to the couple are believed to have been inflicted with a razor and hammer.
