The same night the flat was set on fire, and her parents were rescued, desperately ill; Finally, it is alleged she put 'a powder in their soup, after which she ! spent the night in a whirl of gaiety in -the Monte Martre and returned at [dawn, and found her parents apparently dead, , The police were set oil the trail when they learned that her hobby was the study of poisons;
