The Swiss are intensely inclignarit at the violation of frontier rights.. A Czechoslovakian, Weber, allegedly en.gaged in smuggling sugar into. Germany, was suddenly seized by. three Germans while walking on Swiss.territory near "Rairisen, arid was treated with considerable brutality. He was tied with ropes and dragged across the frontier, though bleeding badly. A Swiss customs officer , hastende to the rescue, hut was .afraid to shoot the (German, patrol.
