An unemployed married man with five children, was before the Court; charged with - driving a motor- car while intoxicated. In placing him on probation -for two yearn, and cancelling hi s license Magistrate Levy expressed the opinion that the only remedy was imprisonment. He issued a. warning that no matter the circumstances, if people /chose to drive vehicles while in a state of intoxication the Court would give no option of a fine. '
