SUICIDE ON H.M.A.S. CANBERRA. (P°r Prut* Association — Copyright ) WHANGARET, August 26. The trip of H.M.A.S. Canberra from Sydney* was marked by a trauedv. At seven o’clock on Monday light, Franc’s Flanagan, a yeoman of signals, aged 31 years, a native of Now South Wales, committed suicide on the upper deck by shooting himself with a service rifle. He was buried at sea the noyi morning. A court- of inquiry will be held later.
