BEAUTY CONTEST

N.Z. WINNERS ANNOUNCED. To. the many people throughout the Dominion who are interested in Paramount’s “Search for Beauty” contest, comes, the .news of Die Hollywood judges’ decision in 'regard to the winners' for New Zealand. They-are Miss Joyce Nielson, of Wellington, and Mr Colin Tapley, .of Dunedin.

These two lucky persons will leave New Zealand by. the s,s. “Monrerey” via Auckland, on September 23rd, on which boat the Australian winners will also travel to Hollywood. The famous Roosevelt Hotel will accommodate I he winners' , from England, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, (janaea, South ‘Africa l and from several sections of America. In addition, Miss Nielson and Air Tapley will each receive a contract for five weeks at a salary ol fifty dollars a week, to appear in the Paramount picture, “The Search for Beauty,” and a chance to win the special prize of one thousand dollars which ■is to he awarded -to the man and the woman who in the opinion of the judges have given, the most outstanding .performances in the picture. Both 'tlie winners'.are highly delighted with their good fortune, and. a i- e eagerly looking forward to thei r visit to the Paramount. s tudios in Hollywood.
