DISPLAY IN FINLAND

Many new features are being devised for “British Week,” which will be held, in Finland from September 4 to September 10. The display of merchandise promises to be extensive, for from Lancashire alone 30 leading firms are sending representatives and goods within the next fortnight,' 1
H.M.S. York, which the Admiralty is sending, will carry the band of the Second Battalion of the Black Watch. The Air Ministry is contributing 60 models of different types cf British air craft. Among the many events arranged for the week is a lecture hv Sir John Squire, the noted poet and critic, on English literature. ■Mr Douglas Kennedy and a team from - the English Folk Dance Society, will demonstrate old English country and morris dances, and a fireworks display will’ he given.
