T ' EXPECTED. (Per Press Association — Copyright.) WELLINGTON, August 23. 'Plie appointment of several J.cgiV Intivo Councillors will probably be announced just prior to the opening of Parliament on September 21 next. The selection of its nominees will engage the attention of Cabinet shortly, but no appointments are likely to be made until the Prime Minister, Mr Forbes, returns to New Zealand. There are at present only twentyone members of the Legislative Conned, and it is believed that the Government takes the view 'that the Council personnel should be strength- 1 •ened.
