IMPRISONED RELIEF WORKERS. i ; (Per Press Association — Copyright.) WELLINGTON, August 22. A meeting of 150 members of the Wellington District- /Relief Workers’ Union decided to take steps for securing the release of the men recently sentenced to three months’ imprisonment on charges of besetting. It was decided that a deputation wait on the Minister of Justice as soon as possible for the purpose of- having the imprisoned men released, also to protest against, their being put .in gaol for three months, and, if satisfaction is not obtained from the Minister, to inform him that an appeal will be made to the Governor General.
