GERMANY DEFEATS BRITAIN

LONDON, August 19
At White City, Germany heat Britain by 75 to 59 points at athletics. Borchmeyer had a.;convincing double, winning the hundred and two-twenty yards. Britain halved the track events, hut were defeated in all the field events.
Superiority in the throwing and pimping events gave the German athletes the victory.
No untoward incident occurred at the meeting, Jews boycotted it, a n d men 'paraded outside the ground, with' a'nti-Hitlente placards.
