Figures for tlfo overseas ‘trade of New Zealand' for the month of July 1933 -show exports valued at £3,376,705 and imports valued >at £i,438,907 For the corresponding period last year, the figures were £2,405,976 and £1,832,337 respectively. . For the ppriod of seven , months ended July; 1933, exports were £27,035,100 aiid“ imports £11,896.100. The balance in g-'terms-; of New ’Zealand ir f immy “including, j specie) being £12,091,000. v Fcr the same period in 1932, the’' figures were £24,584,497 and £12.098,160 , respectively. According to a statement'"made by Sir William Perry, a member of the N.Z. Meat Producers’ Board, Bfc T-inui the Board- had engaged a publicity expert. The isemor officers of the Board had instruction* to publish information, but as they were not experts, the appointment- was made.
