One of the main pieces of legislation, states the Wellington “Evening Post,” will bo a bill for the establishment of a Central Reserve Bank in New Zealand. This bill was introduced before the House adjourned last December, hut it was
not taken up upon the resumption in. January, and- did not pass, the first reading stage. It-is not expected that this season’s measure will show any material ~differences from the original bill. Parliament will also be asked to ratify the trade agreement reached between the Australian and New Zealand Governments .early this year, but it is.not expected that a general tariff revision will, be under--takeii, for it is now most unlikely •that the Tariff Commission will have finished its task in time.
