We held a very isucceesful sale of springing -heifers at the Kokatahi sale yards yesterday, buyers ;being present from, all part* tef the district. The Jersey heifers yarded by Mr ’ John Monk were in. first -class order, and attracted very keen competition, which was to bo expected, owing to the great reputation of Mr Monk’s herd for butter fao production. The heifers entered by Mr X. Harris were [also in excellent condition arid-were keenly competed for. ; Tlie- following were the sales;
