WALKER DEFEATS PEREIRA

GISBORNE, August 16.
Before a 'record crowd, George Walker beat Al Pereiw by two falls to one. Pereira received a’ fall in the fourth . round _ with a, flying scissors, but Walker evened in the seventh by a dump and body press, after headlocking his opponent. Pereira was groggy in the eighth, and further headlocks ended in an easy fall for Walker.
