Further ‘ litigation ' between William Douglas Lysnar, phd\ the National B»;ik in pehnefction with A(i’ow'hanea Station which hag been the subject of several important "actions between trie parties, commenced at the Supreme Court this mo-ning,' before Mr Justice Blair, when Lysnar proceeded against the Bank on a claim totalling £51,40J.j . Plaintiff alleged! that' the Bank had! taken a course to which'it had no right: in law, and thc'inain item of'the claim; was for’loss of equity in’the station of ' £22,843. He also claimed ' for chattels seized and damages for ; their retention ; also that the Bank had allegedly occupied and used an area, of 115 acres ’ adjoining the station, none of this land, nor the chattels, being included in the bank security. Ihe defendant Bank, in a counter claim, set out. that Lysnar was indebted! under a security instrument foi £73,719 on July 1931, on which date ■ ithei Bank made a demand for; payment, and plaintiff Tailed to pay. Plaintiff appeared in person and Messrs T. O. Hisloo, D. E.
