(Received this day at 10.45 ia.m.) WARSAW, August 16. - After being baptised as a Catholic on his death (bed, Hiroyuki Hawai, the Japanese ambassador to Poland,, died to-day. Kawai who had suffered a long 'illness, expressed the wish yeAerday for his conversion. His wife, who is ■already h 'CLtlMic, requested the presence of the Papal Nunqq; who im* mediately instructed Kawai to be baptised.
