The anti-cyclone which has been -referred to in ireeentg reports is now •centred over the South Island, where the barometer in places reads 30.5 inches. The pressure i s commencing to fall over eastern Australia. The forecast is for light to moderate and variable winds, with northorlies gradually predominating. Weather fine with cold aright, bub mild day teinperatures. Sea-s smooth.
