It was announce 1 here to-day that the embargo on South Australian oranges, which has been in force from the beginning of the year, and which has resulted in the cessation oi shipments which, in the normal course of events, would haye been arriving from the end of the month, has 110 w been lifted,

This morning, Mr Prank Bray, ex ecutive member for Southland of the New Zealand Fruit and Produce Auctioneers’ and Importers’ Federation, stated that he had received cabled advice from Mr C. N. S. Mueller, representative tof the Growers’ Association -of the Eerri district of South Australia, that ail available supplies were oemg shipped,. commencing wi*h ■a shipment by the '.Waikouaiti and that .all would be sent forward regularly.
