PROTEST AGAINST FOREST LAWS.

Aney, Congress president, was arrested at Berar, in the Central Provinces, together with thirteen followers, who, led by Aney, marched to a government reserve forest, protesting against the forest laws.
ACTIVITY ON FRONTIER. (Received this day at 10.45 a.m.) CALCUTTA, August 15. Tribal sweepers are active on the frontier, where an Indian sepoy was killed, and several were wounded.
