WHISKY & MILK
NO SOLID FOOD FOR 15-YEARS. Aj retired agent, lALr' Charles 'Edward Booth, aged 72, of Herne Hill England, ■ who died lately, was stated at the inquest at Camberwell to. have eatno solid food for 15 yeans. The deceased was stated by a nephew to have lived mainly on whisky and milk. He drank three quarts of milk and half a ibottle of whisky a' day. Dr Thomas Pearson said tba-t he had attended Mr Booth for 15 nr 20 years. He had been quite, unable to take solid food. Tho Coroner; Nevertheless he managed to live to 72. D r JPeirsom agreed that Mr Booth war a confirmed whisky drinker and fthlat 'his Ideat-h was precipitated by alcoholism. He had' fatty degeneration of the heart. * Air jAlforan (record a: verdict of. “Death from natural causes.”
