Robin equalised in the seventh round .with a deadlock and body press. It was a strenuous and exciting bout. Robin, , giving ia 3low motion display, relied on headlocks and his weight and brute strength. Mamos gave a pleasing display, but he was greatly handicapped On the' score of the weight and size of the Maori, DISQUALIFIED FOR PUNCHING. GISBORNE, July 28. Before a packed house to-night, Haf Rumberg defeated Jack Paterson, who was disqualified in the sixth round for using a rabbit punch. Rumberg secured the first fall in the third round with a merry-go-round, catching his opponent by the legs and swinging him round several times and then dumping him, Paterson evened in, the fifth round with a thunderbolt.
