The apparatus is expected to work shallow ground,, and places where there is no fall for tailings: T-'ie machine, will elevate.' the wash .to*a. height of 12 feet in one operation. After depositing the material in the sluice box, the water .for f:\vashing is . supplied, by a centrifugal pump.
