FOXTON, July 27
Day Lass, owned by Mr S. E. Cleaver, of AVaverly, which arrived here by the'mid-day train, died after light exercise on the Foxton track during the afternoon as the result of a broken blood vessel.

Racing circles received a shock today when Yarramba, which has broken down, wds scratched for the two cupn. Yf.Vrramba Iran second in the last Melbourne Cup to Peter Pan.

The Goodwood Stakes resulted: Prince Oxendon 1, Loose -Strike 2, Guiscavd 3. Nineteen started. Won by three-quarters of a length.
