To this the Federation, had replied that it could not agree to the proposals, and the council had sent a let* ter of acknowledgement - The chairman, Mr W. 7. Walter, moved that the cycling council be susnended for refusing to work,with ,the Federation. The motion.’ AvaS carried on the ..voices, and immediately Mr J. M. Coffey and Mr G.. It. Giles left the meeting. ■

An application for affiliation from the League of Wheelmen was granted by, the two members remaining at the meeting,, Messrs W. J. Walter and H. Dr London.
