AUSTRALIAN FLEET
NO EXTENSION OF ITINERARY.

WELLINGTON, July 26,
Referring to the visit of the Australian fleet, the Minister of Defence
(the Hon. J. G. Cobbe), to-day said that he doubted if it would be possible
to,extend the itinerary already arranged. The visit of. the ships was not-a pleasure trip. The primary object was for both the Australian and New Zealand division to engage in combined exercises.
