PROCEEDS OF NEXT ART UNION
SUM OF TEN THOUSAND.

WELLINGTON, July 25.
According to an announcement by* the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr Young, to-night, the proceeds of “My Lucky Chance” Art Union, for which trickets are ■at present being issued, will be distributed as follows: £IO,OOO for the relief of distress throughout the Dominion.
£2.000 to the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association, for the benefit of the Auckland Association.
The distribution of the £IO,OOO for til© relief of distress will be on a> similar basig to that adopted on the occasion of two previous art unions.. It will be based on the principle of distributing the money in districts showing 30 or more unemployment registrations.
