THE LAST RITES
INDIAN CONGRESSMAN’S FUNERAL. (Received this day at 10 n.m.) CALCUTTA, July 24. A procession of six thousand followed the funeral of San Gupta. The body was cremated at the some soot as that of the famous Congress leader. R. Das was eight years ago. Along the entire route revolutionary slogans were shout"'l, and Congress flags were very prominent. European eouneil!°'’s and the corporation paid floral tribute.
