ROME, July 28. The family of Carmelo Messina had a feud with a wealthy landowner, named Croso. in the village of Ficarra, so they, allegedly, put poison in a pail of water at his house. This was used in a cooking dish for dinner iiK honour of seven guests, all of whom diec* Croso, however, survives because he did not fancy this particular dish. The whole of the Messina family lias been arrested.
