CLEARING -SALE AT HARIHARI
On Thursday last a very successful sale of the live and dead stock of MiFrank Mitchell wag conducted on the farm at Harih-ari. The attendance was good and competition keen for all lots offered. The test cows approaching profit were well sought after and made the good price of £9 17s Gd for the pick. A line of 18 mos heifers due iu the early spring realised £4 2s Gd. W. Jeffries and Co., conducted the sale and report as follow: — Dairy cows sold: two at £9 17s Gd, two at £8 2s 6d, two at £B, three at £7 17s Gd, two at £7 2s Gd, one at £6 12s Gd, two at £G 7s 6d, two at £6 2s 6d, one at £5 15s, one at £•> 10s, one at £5 12s Gd, two at £5 7s Gd, one at £5 ss, seven faulty quartered cows from £3 to £4 15s. Five jersey cross calves at £1 9s, eight 18 months jersey cross heifers due Septem-her-Oetqber‘at £4 -2s Gd. Two tarnworth breeding sows at £3 2, s each.
