Although conditions were ideal for the second qualifying, round of . the Hokitika Golf Club’s championships on Saturday, the cards returned were not good. In conjunction with the qualifying round the monthly bogey match was played and Tomlinson proved the winner with 2 down, W. E. Brown and Warren being second with 5 down. LADIES’ GOLF CLUB. The July L.G.U. bogey was war. by ’Mrs CaliiM’i, who returned a card of 2 down.
