The monthly meeting of the Harihari Women’s Institute was held on July 19th. Mrs Berry presided over a. largely attended meeting. A roll call of “Programme Suggestions” brought U forth many new and interesting ideasBirthday buttonholes were presented! to several members. The method of knitting a circular cushion was demonstrated. A knitting competition wasjtf won by Mrs Berry and Mrs Suther-n*s. land won the competition for best pikelets. During the afternoon presentations were made to Mrs F. Mitchell who is leaving the district and to Miss: E. Wall, on the occasion of her approaching marriage.
