England’s sensational straight set wins were the result of both Englishmen playing the games of their careers, driving and smashing.their wav to victory without giving their opponents a chance to recover from their shock tactics. TOURNAMENT IN ENGLAND LONDON, July 21. At the Erin ton tiirnnameiit, in the semi-final Miki (.Japan) defeated Stedmnn (N.Z.) 6-4, 8-6; Nunoi (.Japan) defeated Sharpe (South Africa) 6-1, 6-3.
