/The death took place during the night of 'Mrs Nora Mason of Kanieri road. The deceased who was living alone in her residence, Kanieri .road, just opposite the County Council was found dead in bed by neighbours, who noticing there were no signs of occupancy, made an investigation. The deceased had .been in ill health for some .time .past and had only come out of hospital a day or two ago, and had been .suffering from heart and other troubles. Deceased wa 6 a widow, of .several years standing, and wa,s a member of the Dowling .family, and had lived in Kanieri since her childhood. She was about 63 years of age,, land ‘"Jeaves a sister Myers of Auckland) and a brother (Mr Austin Dowling senr., of Blackball).
