BERLIN, July 18
The 'body of Dr Schaefer, of 'Hesse, with four bullet wound's, was found ifl u ng on to a railway line from a bridge, after his protective arrest. A giiim struggle had obviously preceded his assassination.
Dr Schaefer was a Nazi -leaden* in 1931. He concocted the notorious • Rnxheim&r’* ‘document, gruesonielv outlining Nazi methods. Afte,. its recession to power, lie left the. party. He -handed the document to the police on -conscientious • grounds. Thereafter he was a marked man. His wife and child arc homeless wanderers.
As a warning to would J be disturbers of Germany’s foreign relations, Captain Goering has suppressed the '“Deutehe Zeitung” for three months and gent the editor to the concentration camp for alleging that General Ba-lbo (leader of the Italian air squadron which crossed the Atlantic) ia a baptised Jew.

The “Daily Telegraph’s” correspondent at Vienna says: The killing of 'Spiegel on July 12th, led to a discov cry that 141 persons bad been murdered at Dachau since the opening of the camp there in -April. The Nazis state' that the men killed were sh-ot while trying to escape.
