RUGBY, July 15. The amount-v .applied for to-day -in Treasury bills at three months was £67,870,000, and the amount allotted was -£40,000,000. BRITSSH MOTOR CAR RACE RUGBY, July 14. In the senior motor car streets race for' cars over 1500 c.c., in Douglas today Brian Lewis, in an Alpha Romeo, was first, with an average speed of 65.23 miles per hour. Richards in a Bugatti, was second with 63.62 miles; and Evston in an Alpha Romeo was third with 63.05.
