The Victoria League has decided to co-operate with the Royal Empire Society and other, sqcieties iiV ; Imperial welfare work and the entertainment of Dominion visitprs.

Lady Jersey said there was much overlapping and unnecessary expenditure. Co-operation was possible without loss of individuality.

Sir Archibald Weigall, on behalf of the v Royal " Empire ' Society, advocated the co-operation of Empire societies in one; building instead of,- as at present, defeating mutual ends. ‘ y , For instance, three Agents-Generai were three times entertained- beflore the same crowd, and said,- the same things, when 'one function :would have been sufficient.
